My name is Charlie Nipper Newman, but I go by the name of Nipper. I live in South-East London and have been in the building trade since 2011.
I started Nipper’s Home and Building Services in 2020 as a result of being asked to take on more work. At the moment, this is my part-time / spare-time enterprise but my hope is to make this full-time and follow in the footsteps of my father and both my grandfathers.
Experience
I initially qualified as a Level 2 plumber and worked for a plumbing company for a couple of years before moving to a stone and building restoration company. This experience allowed me to develop complementary skills, such as carpentry.
I have gained all the necessary Health and Safety qualifications such as:
- CSCS Health and Safety Test
- Manual Handling
- Abrasive Wheels
- Asbestos Awareness
- SSSTS (site supervision safety training scheme)
I am also covered by public liability insurance and happy to provide disclosure documentation for peace of mind.
